Bike seats

One thing you notice in Cambridge is all the bikes that people use to travel around the place. There are bollards stopping cars from entering some areas of the city with only buses and taxis able to enter.

My point is if you come to Cambridge and buy a bike to travel around on, make sure you change the quick release nut and bolt on the seat adjustment for one that requires an allen key. I didn't realise this and walked out of my house one day to see my bike with no seat. Now I have heard of front wheels being stolen but seats??

There is probably someone in Cambridge with a large number of seats in their backyard, good luck with the karma.

Nice cheap bike store is Halfords, also Mikes Bikes have a huge range of bikes. There is also Ben Hayward who have a lot bikes at the more expensive end of the range.

Pizza dude

Dined out at Pizza express on the weekend. The whole meal cost 45 pounds including a tip which is pretty good seeing this included 3 courses for 2 people a bottle of wine.

I have to say they have really nice tasting pizzas. I can't say they're the best I have tasted before as I don't think they are better than the ones I've had in Venice, but they come pretty close.

Finally started

Well it has been many busy weeks for me and I have neglected this thing. I decided to start today.

Here is the news in bullet point form:
  • Didn't end up going to Paris, due to a problem with visas, that has all been sorted.
  • Spend a couple of weeks being interviewed for an engineering position, and decided on that a couple of weeks ago.
  • Waiting patiently for my visa and leave to remain to come through.
  • Been having a holdiay, working on doing nothing, reading and drawing in my spare time.
